Lakshmi (Luck-shmee) is the founder and lead coach of The Later Dater Today.

She specializes in guiding people over the age of 45 to rethink, reinvent and reimagine how they might date today in a modern dating world that has shifted and changed dramatically while they are also free from the societal timeline.

She started designing in-person events for singles almost 15 years ago as she and her peers watched the culture of modern dating and relationships transform before them.

After 3.5 years of experimenting and trying to reimagine the premise of the “singles event,” in 2014 she was hired by Match.com as their first ever Director of Event Design & Strategy.

In 2020, she launched the podcast Paired By The People which aimed to bring back the art of the set-up. Vanity Fair described it as“like having your brain massaged about the ways we could connect if only we had a little help.”

She co-hosted Season 7 of Vox Media’s award-winning podcast Land of the Giants: Dating Games and now she has turned her full attention to reimagining what it means to date later in life with her new podcast and offering, The Later Dater Today.
